課程概述

The aims of this course are:
• For students to gain practical experience of statistical consultation by participating in real case studies
• To provide students with training for communicating results of statistical analysis to non-statisticians
• To provide training for oral presentation and writing skills
• For students to learn how to efficiently conduct a statistical consultation
 

課程目標
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
• Communicate statistical results to non-statisticians using plain language in oral presentation and written reports
• Employ a variety of visual aids in improving the communications during statistical consultations
• Obtain practical knowledge with regard to common errors and misconceptions in statistical consultations
 
課程要求
Active participations in the discussion of case studies and presentations in seminars are requirements for all students.
